The day before you start your detox, avoid all animal protein and have a fairly light diet of just fruits vegetables and salads. Reduce your caffeine intake and drink atleast 6 glasses of plain water. At bed time, take a natural bulk laxative like psyllium seeds or linseeds.

The days after

Try to avoid fried and heavy foods for a couple of days more. Introduce animal proteins only gradually. Have more of fish. Also, take a lot of fruits and salads.
